Ppruners of the military persuasion...

I have been asked to help out with an ex-serviceman who has fallen on hard times. My role is to give advice on career possibilities.

I wonder if any of you could post some links to the following:

any recruitment agencies that specialise in ex- serviceman (officers & OR)

Any organisations that help resettle service people who have been out a number of years.

Any other service that you think might be useful.

Sorry it is a bit vague, but obviously confidentiality is a big factor here.

I am grateful for any help you all can give.

What area of country, what age, what trade/branch?

Horses for courses so to speak.

Are we looking for sole income, supplementary income, or any job to become employed?

Lots of local opportunities here for gardening, decorating, voluntary work.

Hi, I'm an Area Rep for Veterans Aid, a charity for homeless ex-service pers., primarily London-centric. They have access to MoD records to verify and may well be able to assist. Their lead is a ret'd Wg Comd called Hugh Milroy.
