Emirates Follow up after Final Interview

Emirates Airlines Final Interview Follow Up I applied for a Finance position at Emirates Airlines -

I had done a Skye Interview back in March ,

I was then invited to Dubai for Assessments and Final Interview -
I did that on the 19th May 2015

Its already been six weeks - does that mean I'm unsuccessful ?

Would they let me know if I am Successful or Unsuccessful ?

Would they Update my Status on the Career Portal ?

On the Career Portal it still says " Application Under Review "
Will this change to " Unsuccessful " if I don't get it ?

to your questions.

Yes, the portal should at some point say "unsuccessful" if you don't get the job. Unfortunately, that really depends on the job you are applying for too. Certain jobs are open for a very long time on the career portal. So go and check again when the closing date for the applications is. If the application window is still open, this would mean that they are still getting applicants. If it is closed, I once heard that a person received an answer within 2 months. But again, this really depends.

As far as I know, nobody calls you to tell you that you have been unsuccessful. They would put it on your personal career portal page.

Hopefully there is an HR person on here that could maybe give you some more info.

Hang in there and just wait. I would say, give it at least 8 weeks.
