Can anyone advise on the best way for UK students to pay for their CPL and IR when completing them in Europe?

Debit card/credit card/cash/opening a Spanish bank account etc etc

I am thinking along the lines of getting maximum value from the exchange rates with minimum fees for obviously substantial amounts of money rather than protection via credit cards.

The best way I have found up to now is a SEPA payment via my Barclays online banking but if there is a better method I would like to know.

thank you

thank you. I think HIFX is probably the most cost effective way now:-
