Hello,
Last year in August I started my type rating on the B737, passed the skilltest at the end of November and started my line training in December. Unfortunately in January (while still in line training) when I was going home with my Bycicle I fell and was transported to the hospital with Brain haemorhage. Recently the aero-medical section informed me via the phone I will most probably lose my medical for +/- 2 years. Does anyone knows what this means to me in terms of my flying licence. I guess my EASA CPL ME IR flying license as well as my type rating will expire after 1 year, so in November this year. What can/should I do after 2 years to be able to fly again, so to get my licenses current and to get employed by an airline again?
I hope someone can give me some more explanation on this. If someone has experienced something comparable feel free to contact me.
Kind regards.
