So the AFCAS 15 results are out....some of the verbage is disingenuous to say the least....:hmm:

What it says:

The decline in satisfaction with basic pay since 2010 may be influenced by ongoing public sector pay restraint, which has seen Armed Forces pay increase more slowly than in earlier years.

What it should say:

The decline in satisfaction with basic pay since 2010 may be influenced by ongoing public sector pay restraint, which has seen Armed Forces pay decrease in real terms over the past few years.

Not quite. For most there was no real terms drop as annual increments will have outstripped inflation. Not justifying govt pay policy, just making a factual mathematical statement.
