Hi
Can anyone please tell me what I have to do to revalidate my Kenyan CPL. I have been in OZ since 1994 on Dash-8 PIC.
Medical? Flight Test? Blah Blah....
How many trips into DCA will it take 1, 5, 9, 25???
Is Gladys.... still there?

Cheers

I've just done it (for fun though, not for a job):

1. Gladdys still there.
2. Do a medical with Dr. Katabaki. Ksh 5000 He's in the phonebook.
3. If you want to fly IFR, renew your IFR rating with any of the examiners.
4. Go to the DCA with all your hours worked out. First ask them for their last hour form they have on your file and fill in a new one. The easiest thing to do is to take the total hours in your logbook now, deduct the hours from your last form and that should then be the hours you have flown since last renewing your licence. This could take you a while.
5. pay the fee. About 4000.
6. Should be ready after a few days.

Looks like we were in Nairobi around the same time. What's your name or email?
