The crews of two military planes that collided mid-air near Fort Bragg in December had failed to complete visual scans of their flight paths and were too reliant on automated anti-collision systems, according to an Air Force investigative report obtained by The Fayetteville Observer.

I see one comment, post accident, "very good airmanship for both pilot"

I think it established very poor chairmanship but good flying skills given a no doubt heart attack inducing collision.

I can't figure out how the bits of each aircraft fitted together. C130 climbing crossing right left and overtaking from below, tca near 90 deg?

What on earth is 'chairmanship' in this context? Is this just another example of management speak. Do they mean 'captaincy'? Or on reflection, PN, has your spellchecker got the better of you?:rolleyes::rolleyes:
