Hello, I know flight socks can help with circulation when flying but what about gel insoles? I have real problem with my feet nowadays and even being active they can go blue... so I want to do and wear all I can to stop dvt.

Not only do I my feet tend to go blue but also I suffer from terrible arthritis and aches and pains in my feet.. I have actually lost count on the number of times I have suffered from plantar fasciitis so I do need insoles to keep my feet from swelling up and being uncomfortable.. but could the support insoles give your feet hamper with circulation or improve it? thanks.

Don't know how old you are, but I doubt it is arthritis. I suggest you ask your GP to refer you to a surgical podiatrist in the local hospital. They are not the same as chiropodists and will give you a proper diagnosis, prognosis and advise on treatment.

Good luck

Booman, I'd maybe go even further than Radgirl. You need a proper evaluation of your lower body circulation, both arterial and venous.

Gel insoles aren't going to be enough.
