Hi All

I posted this previously in the South-East Asian Wannabe forum, but I realised this issue only affects pilots outside of Singapore / S.E Asia.. So I'm hoping to have more luck here..

The issue I have is I was recently offered my first job with a European Airline.:ok:

They've asked for a police report confirming no covictions from everywhere I've lived in the past 5 years - which includes Singapore.

From reading online it seems Singapore doesn't like providing this to Non-Singaporeans.

Although it says one can appeal, I'm wondering if any pilots have had experience of this issue and if the appeal is normally successful?

Thanks...

Certificate of Clearance (http://www.mfa.gov.sg/content/mfa/overseasmission/canberra/consular_services/certificate_of_clearance.html) .

Seems simple enough , just follow the steps and provide them with what they want .

Thanks Stone Cold for your input - I see that I can appeal, I was just wondering if any pilots had experience of the appeal process and if it was successful..
