Hi all,

I am moving to Romania for family reasons and I would like to achieve a CPL while living there.
Can anybody recommend me a good training facility, both in terms of quality and costs?

Regional air , A nice school in Constanta Tuzla . There is also the Romanian aviation academy in Bucharest but they don't have online training for ATPL , the cost will be almost the same in both schools .

Fly Level school might be also an option.

Check their website.

Thanks guys, I heard of these schools. Do you have direct experience with any of them?
Distance learning for ATPL looks to be around 1900€ for both of them.
Do you think it is reasonable against other European schools?

Hi Flying Pinguin, I don't have any direct experience with Fly Level, but I've

contacted them last year for my FI rating and have a friend who is doing his

CPL from 0 with them.

Best advice will be to contact and visit both schools.

Does anyone have more information about Romanian aviation academy? Is it private company or not?

Where about in Romania do you live? I live in Oradea and found it alot cheaper to train in Hungary then Romania, there are lots of schools there. If you are interested i can point you in the direction of a very good one in Budapest. I find Romania fairly expensive for flight training also the Romanian CAA are slow and hard to deal with.

Indeed I find Romania expensive too... even more expensive than many western Countries...
If you have any advise I will be happy to read it!
