RAN Submariner

Please forgive this post which may not belong here, but I do not know where else to try. It is military but certainly not aviation related.

My brother-in-law served in the Royal Australia Navy in Oberon class submarines. I know very little of his service details.

He passed away recently and I would like to give any shipmates notification of his passing, and a chance to pay their respects.

Can anyone tell me please where to post a notice? I have contacted the Submarine Association of Australia. Any other suggestions?

May be a good start, I am south-side Canberra and I know there is an office in Woden opposite the plaza, i assume there are others.

Buster, I think he travelled around too much to belong to anything, but I will see the RSL.
