Bristow group has just taken a stake in another airline connected with the oil and gas industry. They've just purchased 85% of Airnorth, the largest operator in Northern Australia. Clever move.
After Eastern airways in the UK sector and Airnorth in Australia they will one day be able to feed their own helicopter hubs with their fixed wings. It means you can offer a customer to fly them form airport (A) to heliport (B) to offshore (C) all in the same contract using different aircraft.

Nevertheless we yet have to see a customer interested in signing such a contract...but I think it is the way ahead....and I don't work for them.

Wait until they find out who their new CEO is going to be, the employees won't be able to find the exit fast enough.

I doubt it, Cobham has a long term contract with Chevron for BWI.

According to the Bristow website, Airnorth will retain its name and brand identity and will continue to operate under the direction of Michael Bridge, Airnorth’s chief executive officer. Bridge will remain on the Airnorth board of directors. Bristow will have three representatives on the board.

The new CEO is due in Darwin in the next day or 2. Michael Bridge is only staying for 6 months, then the Directors Boy (DB) will take over.
