No 11 OTU RAF Westcott (satellite Oakley) located some 5 miles SW of North Marston in Bucks. In January 1945 a Wellington crashed in a local field and three members of the RNZAF and three members RAFVER lost their lives. A commemorative plaque is now to be raised in our Church in April of this year - being attended by relatives of all crew including those coming from NZ. we are searching for information, reminiscences and pics of contemporary happenings and people. Since they were allegedly pushing through 45 pilots and 80 other crew members per month there must surely be some groundcrew, aircrew or others who may be able to assist. Any response will be much appreciated.
