Hi All,

I am new in PPRuNe and am posting my first thread.

Does anyone know an operator who can fly sling load (Airbrone survey) in Kazakhstan?
Towed external load is approx. 750 kg with a drawing force up to 1.100 kg.
The load is a 550m2 frame in a 35m long tow cable.

We are normally using Astar B3 or Lama SA315B. We do not necessarily have to use either of these helicopter types but would like to use one with similar specs (Fuel consumption / lift capacity) as the B3.

Thanks,
Anders

Did you ask EAA/ CHC to lend you an AW139 yet? Not sure if they are hook fitted but worth an ask. They're in Atyrau.

I know that GDH helicopters in Turkey have done surveys in Tadsjikistan and Kirgisistan with B3, so maybe they can help you.

I believe Panh have operated there with KA32s, too. (Panh | (http://www.panh.ru/eng/))

There are three helicopter operators in the Almaty area to contact. Try Skytech, JSC Aspan or Aeroprakt.
