For the situation where you need someone to be a co-pilot for you on an aircraft that needs 2 pilots. Something in the category of small jet, Learjet, Citation etc, for private ops.

The FAA 14 CFR 61.55 spells out the requirements, 5 hr seems a little light on as far as training goes, but that's the rule. I imagine a Flight Safety course would more than meet those requirements.

So what is the process to convert the FAA SIC to a CASA Type rating with SIC privileges. I have been through Part 61, PIC requirements is fine but cant make sense for the SIC requirement.

Does anyone have the Syllabus for the MCC. Nothing in the MOS as for what needs to be trained, how long it takes. Does anyone do MCC courses yet?
