Hi everybody,

I just joined this forum. It was recommended to me on Facebook.
I'm a young reliable, enthusiastic, trustworthy, punctual and courageous Helicopter Pilot, trying to establish myself in the aviation sector. I'm looking for job worldwide.

I just finished my EASA CPL (H) (TT 286hrs). I have passed my EASA ATPL (H) and IR theory credit too. Currently I'm working on my flight instructor too. I hold TR for Hughes 300 and Bell 206 (70 hrs). But if needed I could make the TR for R22, R44, EC120 and AS350 in advance.

My CV is available on request. Please don't hesitate to contact me per personal message for further details.

With kind regards
Marvin Pulz

Fanous_CZ,

you need to get yourself an instructor rating or an IR.

a basic CPL(H) with low hours just isn't good enough these days.

Who says that it only pays by the hour? That looks like a salaried job description to me.

If you don't want it bad enough to do whatever it takes, then you don't want it badly enough. The rights and wrongs of it are a different argument, but companies want flexibility, enthusiasm, willingness to help out at your own expense. When you have the big gig and don't want to do that extra flight, Or push the aircraft in, then fair enough (and even then in this climate I'd think twice about that, but any decent salt would certainly be helping push the bus back in).

Not a brilliantly clear advert I think, because in the role profile hidden at the bottom in the tiny link it says under "expertise in role reqd"

• Previous flying experience in a police role
Desirable
• Type ratings on the EC135, MD 902, EC 145 or A 109

This should have been on the first page I think.

I will be glad to forward CV of qualified pilots to correct desk. We are most likely going to hire two or more pilots.

Requirements are as follows.

3500 Total Time
Offshore experience (oil)

This is in the Middle East (Saudi)

Maybe because PPRuNe expects users to pay for their advertising?

PatMcgroin

As far as paying for advertising...cool, I am a guy that is trying to help out while there a bunch of guys getting dropped off the payrolls. See if you can help them out, that is what I am trying to do. It seems like the least I can do.

If it is not allowed that is OK too.

I am not hiring and really have no dog in this fight. It will just be a short cut from the giant bureaucracy we have when the company is looking for pilots.

I am not hiring

You might not be personally but the company that you are advertising on behalf is.

There seems to be a very fine line when it comes to advertising job openings on PPRuNE. If EEDSL or myself posted about job openings within your company, that's fine. But when you start using phrases like 'We are most likely going to hire two or more pilots' then it appears like you are trying to circumvent the PPRuNe rules on advertising. Hence your post disappearing, I imagine.

:)Regardless

Being this is the area titled Jobs I thought I would pass on what I am pretty sure is coming.

In my 38 years of flying I have had several occasions that I was looking for work and was glad for any tip offs that I could get.

Not sure if we should restrict guys from mentioning openings if they work for that company??? But as mentioned it is not in my interest to see the job filled, I will be one of the slots they will fill.

If the board would like I will give their CV to my company to seek advertising.

Al Buhan don´t "have" (as in "own") a 109...they "OPERATE" one on their AOC.

Owner is a German company-that does not operate a Bell 412, so it can´t be this one...

The only company i know operating 412 and 109 is Falcon...

I think this is either a hoax, or someone fishing...

The company behind this is "aviationsearchgroup"-at least one of their members is know for "collecting" cv´s...

With the given requirements, it can´t be for an OGP-operator...their requirements are much higher...

Norman,

APFT management are *FUNNY* to put it mildly.

I could have done 'residence permit' independently about two years ago.
I met up the HR manager lady in KL APFT's HQ. I enquired about the FI(A) and when mentioning I'm FI(H) there was interest. So I attended. I showed my credentials briefly to the pilot colleague and HR manager during brief chat, then emailed the scans etc.
Not heard back.

In Malaysia it's about DCAM's willingness to do anything and even that after certain company's effort to get some admin stuff through. Or telling helicopter pilot to fly 30hrs twin fixed wing for conversion on first contact. :ugh: Real thing, not me. I never heard back from official email when I asked DCAM anything.

As an example, I had enough time/dual given as per the DCAM's form for aeroplane FI conversion - they don't have heli specific form, really. Maybe bit less according to another document I fished out online from ages ago. Either way, I gave said HR's manager contact to my two job-less FAA rated friends (one EASA CPL holder at the time as well, other theory credit) helicopter instructors with 400-600hrs as instructor, mostly Robinsons and sufficient R44 time.

One never heard back from S.I., the other got email with forms and scans to supply, all of that was dully provided, then not heard anything back.

Sometime after they actually put the ad on JH website (FAA/USA) and stated the hours I met and I got in touch again mentioning seeing the ad. No response. While there may be preference for EASA rated FIs, it's not that important for paperwork/validation processing obviously.

So, you have company that supposedly needs instructor/s (actually does) but then doesn't go ahead hiring people meeting criteria, or even properly communicating. Then posting advert even.

One thing to note, licence validation with DCAM is 'restricted' to instructing most likely, company specific work visa (no biggie to sort with job offer), at least aeroplane instructors. Local FI courses are NO-GO for non-nationals, as DCAM in their protective/discriminative fashion would not approve one's course start, no kidding.

Four figures I expect you mean per day. Yes six figures per annum, no its not a scam or someone fishing, I have been in contact with them. Getting a couple of 412's on a dry lease is not that difficult. Since they already have an OC with rotory wing and fix wing it would be no problem putting new a/c on it. No, its not offshore as Iraq has no such coastline.
Cheers

Lets summarize this:

N-regs are prohibited from flying there.....

That leaves the EASA-countries, as i am not aware of any aussie-company interested in that area...

The market is very small....so i am still wondering where they want to get the airframes from...

Btw:
"OGP" does not mean "Offshore"......there are OGP-operations onshore...

The Bell 412 is not allowed offshore any longer-the existing ones will continue to fly offshore until the end of this year (max. end 2016), then taken out of service (for OGP offshore!) due to the new regulations on emergency exit window size...

Huey, I had not been aware of the B412 being taken out of service due to emergency window size, yes the 76D model has that issue. If this is so, what do you think all the ME operators are going to use?????? Falcon, ADA, Gulf all have s sh-t load of 412's that are being used everyday.
Cheers

Someone should tell CHC that the Falklands SAR contract was won by AAR and BIH.

Can anyone shed some light on why CHC might be scoping for pilots in the Falklands seeing as that contract has already been awarded?

Cheers,

Thanks 212, your input is invaluable! xx

Was thinking this related to Falklands wide SAR contract, not CHC offshore specific.

Winning bidder in FI SAR cannot provide in time. Not sure if AAR have lost totally (ie CHC are interim) or if whole contract has been stripped and CHC have won it. Watch this space.

ARS may not be ready in time due to known 189 delays. They have approached a few SAR operators as a stop gap.

Do not believe the rumours you may have heard. The AAR aircraft are totally on schedule.
Take it from me I know.

Hot LZ.

It would be a failing of any operator if they did not have back up plans in place, which may include Dry leasing alternatives and/or wet leasing from an other operator. That is just good business sense. It is nonsense to not have the full picture and create rumour from little snipets.

O&W,

I'm sure many understand the contingency plans. The extremely friendly ARS guys are more than welcome to return for a brew and chin wag in Stanley any time.

With a 412 rating you can apply for a position as co-pilot flying in Iraq. There is one company that is recruiting now.
You can probably find them on jsfirms.com or helicopterpilotjobs.co.uk:

I hear that the Hong Kong Government Flying Service is looking for experienced pilots again. the big rub is that with government, you get paid a salary but no loss of license, accommodation or schooling.
Unless you have instrument and multi engine ratings you are not likely to be considered, NVG and SAR time preferred.
