Stupid question...

Do simple fractures / breaks (more specifically a broken toe) suspend a class 1 medical certificate for a pilot?

If I can walk fine and carry out normal day to day stuff, would the CAA be interested in suspending a medical certificate for such a "minor injury"?

I can't seem to find any form of guidelines for pilots regarding medical issues, except of course unless I asked an AME

Cheers

Look at the conditions listed on the back of your medical certificate.

Notify your AME! Some discretion is allowed. I broke my thumb on a skiing holiday. The AME was only interested in if it involved my ability to function normally.

Toes! Try playing rugby and flying, nout can be done with toes. You bust em, they heal up a bit wonky and that's it. Guess the AME may won't to pray for its deliverance but not a lot else will work.
