Way back in the golden days, or so one was told, cocaine had certain sexually stimulating and orgasmic delaying effects for both men and women.
It's probably not a good idea to continue that line of thread too far although it could be interestingly amusing to do so.
As a digression then: It was recently brought to my attention, by one who should know, that the UK CAA has a prohibition on acting as a flight crew member of thirty six hours after taking a Cialis pill- even 5 measly mgs and of twelve hours after ingesting a Viagra tablet. Not having heard of this restriction before I thought it might be of interest to some who might be either less naturally priapically stretched than of yesteryear or those who simply revel in the enjoyment of the excesses provided by a multitude of women.

Very interesting, I knew a captain (as old and bold as they come) who not only used the mentioned substance but offered it to any FO who accompanied him on trips (no, not what you're thinking). Mentioned substance was offered as a sort of compensation (though one important component was desperately missing). It was either that or sleeping pills to help drown out the terrible noises that would come from the room next door during layovers. I shall mention it if I see him again though I doubt he'll care as he sees China as his last invasion before he puts his leg up (or down) for good.

Rather like Kublai Khan, with his ever increasing desire to expand his concubinage, getting a leg over the women of the fallen Song dynasty.

Thank you CC, I think the term priapically stretched just did it for me. It will be a useful addition to my list of medical euphemisms. :)

Interestingly, there are some non pharmacological techniques which seem to work well for premature ejaculation. Mental diversion techniques can be useful, reciting the first team for MUFC forwards and backwards seemed to work well for some of my northern clients, although one reported that his girlfriend was not amused when he shouted out "Renaldo" as he was reaching the point of no return.

Some patients report that "delay sprays" can be useful, techniques involving squeezing the head of the penis can help, and urologists sometimes recommend the use of SSRI's.

This is a secret tip but a little white girl sprinkled on the ventral side of the glans will have the same effect while at the same time imparting a delicious sensation for the benefit of others engaged in the same test tube experiment.

(PS: White girl is used here, with no intention of irony, in the context of its generally accepted slang meaning and not in any context of racist or sadomasochist analogy.)

Just because I have a tingling sensation that points out that no one believes me, here's the FAQ link from my AME's website.

7. What are the rules about taking Viagra?
All medication for Erectile Dysfunction can cause significant side effects and you should not fly within the following periods after taking the medication:

Viagra 12 hours
Levitra 12 hours
Cialis 36 hours

Perhaps the really conscientious among the pilot fraternity will inform their rostering departments when they have been prescribed such medications. They will then, as a medical right, have to be given time off before reporting. This should lead to a pilot shortage which could be self perpetuating depending upon the number of older or ancient pilots that is recruited to stand by while the erectile enhancement effects wear off on the consumers.
