I have the assessment next week.
Anybody in the same situation?
Anyone who had the experience and want to share it?
Appreciate any information, advises...
Thank you very much!

Cheers

McHeron, can I ask about your nationality, and if you're applying as Cpt or FO?

(-and maybe your experience, total hours/hours on type?)

...just to get the pic of who they are inviting!

Thanks in advance :ok:

I know 2 F/Os that are called for assessment next week.

One Swedish Guy, with around 1500h total time, around 550 hours on B737 CL, and another Danish guy with around 900h total and 600h on B737 CL

Hope it answers some of your questions 8899, ;)

They have already selected the FO's, I know because a Scandi guy is my friend (whit less experience than me). No hope if you are from outside the Scandi-land, they call their guys. Mafia is not only a matter of the euro southern countries

If I would be you, I will let it go...
Primera is not the same of 3 years ago!!
Very bad company!
-very old 737ng, lot of tech during summer, cph base just for locals and for them nice contract and nice salary.
-they will put you in a crap base, you have to pay your accomodation which will not be easy to find a cheap deal so keep in mind to spend 1/1.5 k for that.
Last summer pilots based in CDG use to pay 1.5 k x month with about 3k remaining in their wallet and don t forget you have to eat, provide your own transportation to the apt and pay taxes back when you come back to your own country.
-most of the crap coming for the organization: lot of duty hours, lot
Of transfers by train if you are based in MMX to Gotheborg,Stockolm ecc.
And lot of positioning by air, jumping for an airport to another with no time available, so you need to rush to catch your flight.
Operation and lot of other departments are already moved to the fckng Riga city!!
They will change your roster frequently, they don t call you, you need to check your roster every night, very bad english and very unpolite.
They don t know how to work in aviation and they ignore the flight duty and limitation.
FCS is your agency that will pay you every 3dh of the month.

-interview arr easy and relaxed, chief pilot David is nice if he likes you.
-FOPH Anders L. very arrogant.

Last summer all FO after 2 months left all.
Not a good deal if you are experience!!

Your decision, just try and come back to me.

In Primera air the things have changed ALOT in the last 22 months and especially the last 6 since the Latvia AOC was established.

Flying wise it is mostly holiday maker flights out of Scandinavia and then a Paris operation for about 6 months in the summer a lot of stdby with minimum days off.

For the interview a standard 737 technical test followed by an personality interview in the past, most likely not a sim, only OPC before entering the line.

Agree...
Unfortunately AOC moved to Latvia, crewing and all offices in Riga, unprofessional people barely speak english, unpolite. Old aircrafts, crap contracts with FCS, bad money (Danish based crew earn twice more on normal human agreements - thanks to Danish Union), terrible atmosphere and organisation. Cabin crew taken from Greece, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania. Roster 10 flying days with 20 travelling around Sweden/Denmark, hours spent in trains, at airports, crap hotels. Waste of time to be honest, better to find a job elsewhere...

And no improvement for 2016. Same crapy contracts 7800 for CPTs and around 3000 for FOs.
No commuting possibilities, 8 days OFF scattered on the all month. HOTAC on your own money.
There is a great discrepancy between Danish crews in Denmark and the other. Because of the Danish union, all crews have good standard contract. All other crews have FCS contract with absolutely NO benefit or consideration whatsoever...
Because of this difference of working conditions, as FCS contractor you are treated as less than paper toilet and your say is worth nothing.
To make it worst, there is a great ass kissing competition between crew members in order to please the management and be based at home or closer to home.

In the job offer FCS says that there is a chance for 50% winter contract. Forget it! they do not have enough work for the already permanent pilots. Av. flight hours in winter: 10-15/month (2-3 sectors)

Most of the Departments moved to Latvia, only management positions and some commercial are in CPH. Those guys primary objective is to hold their sits in CPH, praying that the owner won't have the idea of moving their offices to Riga as well... That means they do not give a s...t at people, only their relation to the owner matters.

For info: new cabin crew deal for summer 2016: 400€/month + 15€/hrs flown...

Primera has now started with their own TR courses and apparently 2016/17 course 13 out of 35 got hired......mostly pilots from Denmark who knew the TRI´s got the job! During groundschool students were told 85% of the course students or everyone were needed for the summer to spread the word. Fully qualified pilots with 1000 to 2000+ hrs did´t get the job after completed TR. HQ in Riga was really badly organised and interviewer barely speaks english. Primera have found a new way to earn some cash

New course starting in fall 2017! Latvian AOC! You can figure out the rest!

New course starting in fall 2017! Latvian AOC! You can figure out the rest!

not sure what that was supposed to mean? What difference does it make where the AOC is coming from? It is 100% Icelandic company with Icelandic management and capital.. If the company is hiring incompetent people to conduct interviews or run shady business models the issuer of AOC has no control over that..
