Thought they had ended all long haul service but schedules show nonstop flights from JED to Jakarta and Kuala Lumpure both ways 3-4 times weekly, why?

why? Because they are an airline and are in the business of carrying passengers on lucrative routes :)

But they had dropped these routes just this month, or did they not?

Flynas had dropped their routes to the west like london heathrow earlier but still fly to kuala lumpur and indonesia!here's a link

Big difference between scheduled flights and scheduled religious charters. Try booking Jeddah - KL for non-religious passengers and you will see that its a connection via AUH.
