Hi

Got a job offer to get a TR and fly the Bell 412, 1 year bonding, terms amd conditions ok, but not as good as off shore. Company future is not the best....

Is the TR worth anything if I decide to leave after a year?

The Bell 212/412 (same rating) is still used in many countries……although it will be replaced by the AW139 sooner or later…

Nevertheless a nice helicopter to fly…

If you are interested:
I have booked the Bell 412 simulator in Stockholm on Dec 15th (afair), and am still looking for someone to jump on with me..

Hi Hueyracer

Many thanks for the reply. The TR is included in the job, but still having second thoughts, if its worth enough for later job chances.

The TR will always be useful in Spain for fire fighting... FAASA and INAER still use them every summer...

I need an EASA ATO for a bridge course B412 SP IR --> B412 MP IR.
Is there any ATO beside CAE Stockholm to offer this course ?

Probably Motorflug in Baden-Baden (if they are still doing this).

Have you tried Agrarflug?
They wanted to add the IR to their ATO as well......i could do your checks...

In Canada 212 and 412 are 2 separate ratings.

hueyracer,

I have 2 ex military 412 experienced friends who want to do an EASA multi-crew LPC/IR on type. They've over 100 hours in the military on it. Can you help?

Send me their details as PN....it´s complicated and depending upon the country they are from (as the militaries in each country have different agreements with the local CAAs)..., but i have done it before-for Irish, UK, Spanish, Portugeese and Italian Pilots as well as pilots from the Netherlands and Belgium..
