Hi

I have FAA CPL ME IR and EASA CPL ME IR with fATPL
I'm currently living in Florida and would like to do my MCC course here.

I talked to Pan Am in Miami to do my MCC on a 737NG for $4500 and they had another guy that was interested, but now the other guy is not able to do it, and I was told that they didn't do the EASA MCC course very often so I don't know when I can get it done.
Is there any other training facilities here in the US where it's possible to do a EASA MCC course?

No there isn't any other TRTO that does EASA MCC in USA.you'd have to go back to europe.I had the same problem when I did my MCC with pan am on A320.The original guy din't arrive but luckily found another partner in 5 days time. All the best:ok:

If MCC is a EASA based training
Can it be done by an FAA candidate who holds a CPL ME+IR ?
If so how is it endorsed in your FAA license ? :ok:

The MCC is a paper certificate and not endorsed on your license.

Hi guys

I need some info. And any help will be appreciated.

I have an FAA CPL with IR and ME. Also have a class 1 FAA medical and 300 hours time. Fresh out of flight school and hold an Indian passport.

I have an opportunity with an airline in the middle east who has asked for a few requirements from me before they can start my process. From the requirements, there are two which I do not possess and I am looking to travel ASAP to the United States to get this done immediately.

1. ATP CTP - I have communicated with two schools, Aerosim, Orlando and PanAm Academy, Miami. Both are offering the course at the same price, which is $4995. Which school would you suggest being a better option?

2. MCC - The MCC is not an FAA course and more of an EASA / JAA course. Is it possible for me to still do the course with my FAA licence. The only place in the United States that I have found who offers this course is PanAm Academy, Miami. They are charging $5000 but also said that it is only a certificate of completion. What is the difference between a certificate of completion and what a pilot would get on an EASA licence. Isnt the course a certificate programe? Shouldnt the certificate of completion be enough? Also does anyone know if it is worth doing the course with PanAm. How is their facility and training? Should I go ahead with them for both courses since I can get it done in one school?

Please do help me out as I am looking to leave in the next two weeks....

I went to aerostar for faa recurrent. Nice people to deal with.. Good instructor and faa examiner. The only problem is that the GROUND school is in orlando. Otherside of orlando airport. The simulators are in miami. So after groundschool you need to drive or fly to miami or vice versa..

There Higher power /ATP. In dallas.. Same price

Hello suh77

I just want to ask you about ATP CTP course, Do you have to write the ATP written exam to get the certificate or you can just do the course by itself.
