View Full Version : Dubai to Abu Dhabi
A quick question. Coming over to Dubai soon to have a look at Emirates but wanted to pop to Abu Dhabi for the day. Anyone give advice on best way to get there. Bus, Car etc?

I think car...or hire a car and driver for the day.
Car or bus possible- usually about 1.5 to 2 hours.

There are buses from Dubai at a reasonable cost,taxis are not exorbitant.Unless you have driven in the Middle East before I would not recommend hiring a car as the Emirates road can be a real culture shock with insane Emiratis driving at lunatic speeds. As a foreigner it would be your fault if there was an accident.

The airline which we can't mention run a coach between their Dubai check in office and Abu Dhabi airport, there is a metro station next door. Free if you have a boarding pass for one of their flights, small fee if you don't. Schedule is available on the website.
