Does anyone know if games which are suitable for Win9x and Win Me/2000 are suitable for Win XP?

From personal experience some are & some aren't. If you have one or two specific games in mind it woud be worth having a look on the newsgroups for info to be sure. You could also check the game manufacturers website for info & patches.

I think there is an option where you can change XP to act more like some previous version of windows. 98 would probably be best.

But I have 2k, and lots of games say only 95/98 support, but they still work with 2k. Others don't. It's a bit hit and miss.
