This is seen in the super yacht adverts as well:
"...to take on duties and activities outside your normal responsibilities.."

And I have always asked myself what it means exactly.
Any insiders care to enlighten the unworthy?

General dogsbody duties doesn't sound quite so prestigious nor vague. VVIP usually means Very Very Imperial Pain.

I thought that I saw the current driver was the recipient of an honour awarded by The Queen earlier this year, but cannot seem to find a reference.

Anyone better clued up at finding such things?
