question about EK QR and the other one

My company is offering leave of absences and I was wondering if these airlines would hire me on a leave or do I need to show proof that I quit?

The airline with a nice goat on its tail does take crew on a leave of absence

The unmentionable airline does not

You certainly used to need a proof of termination letter to work in the Land of the Maktoums but I believe a deal was cut with Qantas for a short term (3year) contract for a while to work while Aol.

That Qantas deal is a moot point and EK knows it.

Those Qantas guys think they are going back someday.

That ship has sailed and EK is their new home.

Qantas is dying and all that will be left is a name brand outsourced.
