Perhaps residents would prefer a Bell 412 to conduct the joy flights instead??

Adding positive comments to articles that reflect negative things about aviation can have a bigger impact than most folk realise. Great idea.

Bureaucrats pay attention to public opinion, these comments seldom go unread.

That's what pollies assistants do. Read and collate info on topics of interest
so agree, comments are beneficial, as are emails to the local MP to say the NIMBY's campaign is BS.

Good luck to the operator. From memory he is a pprune member who switched to Rotors a couple of years back and seems to have lept forward in leaps and bounds since then !

Soon be classed as a RPT and ........

In an R44, really? That would be interesting.

Yeah, but the effort....

I know what you are saying ... :ooh:

Here are some suggestions:

I would think helicopter noise can be heard (loudly) for about 4 minutes. Four flights per day equals about 16 minutes of noise per 24 hours and for scenic flights it will never be at night.

Given the area it is most probabaly a retiree, did they ever work? How can a pilot ever retire if he does not work? It is selfish in the extreem to deny someone "having a go" a living.
