mmm... they use a picture of RAK Airways cabin crew on "about us"...

Is there any ex-RAK involved in this project?

The website - and even fleet type images - feels very familiar. If I'm not mistaken, the self same website has appeared in the past, but not using the name Skies Airlines, but, rather, another name.

Can't remember what name though.

Ok could it possibly be Global Jet? On the about us it mentions that they are using the Global Jet AOC, however as far as I know Globaljet shut up shop last year in DXB and started Afgan Jet in Kabul using the CRJ200

Could the 737CL Skies Airlines are using be the ex Global Jet 733 parked up at Ras Al Khaimah Intl?

Well, the A320 and 737 photos appear to have the company logos photoshopped on to them, and I'm pretty sure I've not seen either anywhere on DXB- so I think this is currently a "Virtual" airline at best.

ETA, Google image search is your friend- the 737 is a photoshop of a Global 737 with the new livery.

The A320 is a stock photo of a white-tail- http://tasreports.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/lz-bhg-balkan-holidays-a320-w1.jpg somewhere other than Dubai- note the green grass!!!

Seem to remember some press about how it was all the pipe dream of some Pakistani wannabes, and came to nothing.
