My Ghana Airways flight refers :confused:
Landing at 0220 on a Monday morning at Jhb International should normally not be a problem .... here is the times / delays that I experienced :
Landing : 0220
Enter terminal building : 0235
Passport control : Took them 35 minutes with 65 pax now 0310.
Receive luggage at 0345
Now for the biggest laugh : We got locked up at customs - red and green line ; The doors where all locked ... after NUMEROUS phone calls and shouting / hitting the glass doors we eventually got through at 0425 .. and take a guess NO checks at all ... so what is the use of them still being their ... I mean an African flight normally has a few surprises on board (immigration took two guys to the side and I could clearly see thay are on the next flight out) ....
The good news : Khulala.com ... what a pleasure to fly with them for R700 odd rand down to the Cape .. no frills just damn good smiling hosties and nice sandwiches (which I will pay R12 for ANY DAY !)
