Any of you Benson/rotary chaps able to tell me which company made that little analogue clock on the instrument panel in the Mk1?

An instant brain flash said it began with a 'B' and it wasn't Breitling. We were told that it was the same as in the Concorde. Clockwork timepieces were compulsory at that time.

One of these I think.

Can't quite remember.

There was an earlier version than that one.

Btw, that's a stopwatch, not a clock!

The Mk1s I flew had something like this, placed just left of the gear indicator. Indeed a Thommen.

Now, I think I might clock-off :ok:

IIRC the AS330J had the same clock as the Puma. The photo of the J's cockpit in Airliners.net show the a clock with the second hand dial at the bottom, as does the picture of the Concorde's cockpit.

However it could have well been a Thommen.

Rotor monkey,
That's the later version. The original aircraft clock had to be manually wound up.

Thank you for your replies. Pictures of Thommen I've looked at seem to be the one I was thinking of.

Anybody have one they don't want ?!?!?!?!

Still in use for new aircraft: I had to wind up the one in an AS350-B3 Squirrel I flew only three days ago
