View Full Version : 25th Anniversary of the 1989 Pilot's Dispute - Social Gatherings?

The calendar approaches 25 years on after a period of significant unpleasantness in the Australian Airline Industry.

While PPRuNe doesn't encourage discussion of such things, might it be possible to use a thread such as this merely, and only, to note any proposed gatherings to mark the passage of time - regardless of which side one might have supported at the time ?

It occurs to me that the people on both sides of the fence at that time don't have a convenient means of disseminating information regarding any gatherings other than via PPRuNe.

Accordingly, might the mods slash and burn ruthlessly in respect of non-pertinent comment - as I fear there will be - but permit dispassionate and factual information regarding gatherings ?
