Already the 6th here in Japan, and all this week there have been special exhibitions and TV documentaries about the bomb dropped over Hiroshima. 8:15 this morning.
Most survivors are not vindictive, (well, those that are tend to apportion equal blame to the US and Japanese wartime governments) and they shut it away deep inside, but in recent years many have been encouraged to draw pictures of what they witnessed in an attempt to get people to open up and talk about it before that generation is gone forever.
