Interesting that BAE is advertising. I thought that ASCENT (Lockheed Martin) was responsible for the Hawk training at Valley under UKMFTS.

Ascent/MFTS/4 Sqn deliver training on the Hawk T2 in parallel to 208 Sqn which uses the Hawk T1. The T1 sim is run by BAe.

Cheers BN, I forgot to make the distinction between the T1 and T2.

Don't see an age limit! Remember Hawk T1 arriving at Brawdy AND I spent many hours in the flight sim. sorting out the acceptance procedure (and flew the a/c).
I expect that I am about to be told that I am a "silly v. old f**t and should know better - OK, you are right, but it might be worth a go!!!!

You might all ask why there are vacancies. Perhaps 5 of the 6 instructors have left suddenly due to 'problems'

'Problems'

Word on the street is that they were being asked to work their contracted hours!

Word on the street is less than totally accurate.

Word on the street seems pretty accurate when speaking to the people involved on both sides of the disagreement!

Pi..ed! Moi!!! I resemble that remark Audax!:{

Thanks BEagle for the kind remark and reminding me just how old I am! The Buccaneer sim tour was not much fun really but I did manage to wind up plenty of senior officers! So my time was not completely wasted:ok:
