Some years ago, AIRBUS published some documents about fuel saving operations.

In the company I work for, we have had some discussion about the data in these documents, especially "Landing in CONF 3 – Use of reversers". Some of our "experts" do not think the data in these documents are valid for our A320/A321/A330, even though they are from the same period as these documents were published. E.g. the document states you on average will save 10 kg fuel doing a Flap 3 LDG on a A320 compared with a Flap Full LDG etc.

Is there a knowledge person here, who can confirm if the below documents are still valid ?

And have AIRBUS recently published more documents on fuel saving ?

Thank you :-)

In the latest FCOM update there's a
GREEN OPERATING PROCEDURES at
the back of the Supplementary Proc.

Initially I thought it was something
about the Green hyd system until I
started reading it...

It lists many ways you can save fuel
- some good ideas, some impractical.

Only thing that annoys me is Airbus
calling it "Green" procedures. :hmm:
