Math & Physics topics

Hey,
As I'm looking further to start piloting studies in future. And I would like to prepare myself, remember what I've learnt in High school. So would be very helpful if you guys could share the topics of math and physics used in trainings, ground schools etc? Or even recommend self-studying books.

As far as I know there's a lot of Calculus but what else besides that ?

Calculus is essential if you want to gain a deeper understanding of aerodynamics or indeed anything in engineering. For pilot training, however, you won't necessarily need it, at least not here in Euroland. Should you, however, plan to become a pilot who knows a little bit more about the theory of flight than what was required for the test, or even consider getting an engineering degree, I would strongly recommend you brush up on calculus.

As for the essentials, you will definitely need trigonometry.

However what procedures do require maths and physics knowledge. Obviously calculating true air speed, fuel burn over time. But what else ? Looking for something I could practice on aviation related situations.

There are indeed ('obviously' as you say) some time, speed and distance questions in the exams. Hardly any of them require more than just basic cross-multiplication. Since this is really basic stuff, I doubt there will be many text books or internet sites with practice questions specific to aviation.

The subjects listed under 'Mock Exams' that require some basic maths are Flight Planning & Monitoring, Mass & Balance, Navigation, Performance, and Principles of Flight.
