Cameron was a true adventurer and all around good guy; curious, athletic and a gifted artist. Not content to sit on the couch he brought his kiteboarding kit to Mozambique -making him probably the only kiteboarder within five hundred miles on that stretch of East african coastline. I once stood on a thirty foot ledge above a shallow Indian ocean bay with Cameron. Where I anxiously peeked over the edge, he didn't hesitate for a moment to leap off into the water below. It's perhaps trite to say someone 'lived life to the fullest' but Cameron really did. Rest in peace,

Did MH17 pilot divert INTO the danger zone because he 'felt uncomfortable'? | Mail Online (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2696975/Putin-blames-Ukraine-loss-Flight-MH17-298-innocent-souls-DOESNT-deny-Russian-separatists-shot-missile-McCain-warns-Hell-pay.html)

He's mentioned, and photos, in the above article, about 3/4 of the way down.

RIP Cameron. It was a pleasure working with you. One of the best pilots ive ever had the pleasure of flying with. You made Mozambique a unique place.

If there is a heaven, I hope they allow you to kite board like a crazy mofo!

Never met him, despite many years in the SAAF flying choppers, he possibly didn't go the SAAF route? However a terrible thing to have happened, thoughts are with all the families involved in this tragic event.
