Its been reported that due to RAF Leuchars closer the MOD has decided to offer the two F-4s, the Tornado and Lightning up for disposal.
I wonder if these jets will end up going directly to one of the MODs preferred dealers?


Time will tell.

Everett Aero or maybe Air & Ground will no doubt end up with Black Mike, which will then be offered for sale at some grossly inflated price, probably even more so given it's historical significance. I'd like nothing more than an enthusiast's group to get 582 to Bruntingthorpe and recovered to eventual ground running condition but, as is usually the case, money talks...
