AS350 B3 Crash Norway 24th June - non fatal

A AS350 B3 from Pegasus helicopters hired by the Norwegian Defence Infrastructure Organization crashed at Hjerkin in central Norway today. The DIO is using the helicopter in the work to return the former Hjerkin fire/bombing range to nature.

Apparently the 350 crashed about 200 meters from the point of departure, next to the yellow shed in the video below. Some media states that "the engine quit".


Pilot recived significant injuries and was airlifted to hospital in Lillehammer. Co-pilot (According to media, perhaps loadmaster?) and 3 passengers got just bumps and scrapes.

Description
The helicopter was one month old and was used in connection with transport for the MOD. Commander has stated that shortly after takeoff the engine stopped with subsequent forced landing. None of the occupants were seriously injured. The helicopter was substantially damaged.
