I've just returned from a very enjoyable weekend attending a squadron association annual get-together.
With advancing years and the closure of a number of squadrons, some of these associations are starting to struggle for numbers.
For anyone who had good times on a particular squadron, I would well recommend getting in touch with the association (you can find them on-line) and you may meet up with some long lost mates and share a story or two.
For ex- groundcrew, they are not all for aircrew, so don't feel that you will be out of place going along.
Joining will keep the memories alive.
