Out and about the last couple of days noticed what looked like a helicopter main fuselage section, with windshield covered with a sheet/tarpaulin, I think on a low trailer in a field next to the M40, just North of the Warwick services on the northbound carriageway side. Best seen from the southbound carriageway. Red in colour, no tail boom or rotors but think I glimpsed a jet exhaust.
My first thought was a forced landing that had been dismantled for transport but no sign of any attempt to move over a couple of days although a couple of 4x4 vehicles in the field close by. Could of course have been a simulator thingy!
Any ideas anyone?
