Can anyone shed any light on the A340 that appeared today?

It was without any markings, well at least from where I was sat:sad: It landed at about 12:15 hrs and taxied up to the top end of the crosswind runway. The last I saw of it stairs were being brought out to it.

Many thanks in anticipation

Without the slightest clue, thus I'm an expert ;) I would suggest that it was one of the all-white CS- registered aircraft that do ad-hoc charter work and can be seen at various airports in the UK. Failing that, perhaps a VIP biz jet ?

I think you are right, SHJ.
The aircraft was CS-TQM, a HiFly A340-300, originated at Birmingham.

Wouldn't the train have been cheaper ? :) Well perhaps not if they wanted a walk-up 1st class fare….
