Hi,

as I want to get a pilot I checked last year the medical requirements for Class 1 medicals, there was a BMI-restriction (had to be 35 or less).

Today I checked again and was not able to find this BMI-restriction again in the German Part-Med translation, also the Chart UK CAA has on their website (http://apicdn.viglink.com/api/click?format=go&key=1e857e7500cdd32403f752206c297a3d&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pprune.org%2Fmedical-health%2F529390-easa-bmi-medical-examinations.html&out=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.caa.co.uk%2Fdocs%2F2499%2FInformation%2 520Sheet%2520on%2520Obesity.pdf&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pprune.org%2Fsearch.php%3Fsearchid%3D19 44281) states now, that pilots with a BMI over 35 will be further tested if they can act normally in their cockpits etc.

So my question is if they removed the BMI restriciton.
I will do the medical in germany, not hte UK.

Would be happy with it, as my BMI is actually a bit higher then 35:O.
I know its far too high and I am working on it. :D
