A few of us tried to get fuel over the weekend without success. The problem seemed to be the credit card comms not the actual bowser. Be prepared. Next nearest is BNS or MER.

I have seen that problem at other locations and the phone network is always blamed. Not always the case. You need to check if the emergency stop switch somewhere nearby is off. Push and reset and that often clears the "fault"....

If you get an aero refuellers carnet card, you can get fuel even if the comms are offline.

When I was there, there was maintainance on the power lines. Obviously the bowser itself is on backup power, but not the card readers....
Luckily I had enough fuel left, to make it to Moruya.
