Rather tragic with the death of a 12 year old girl.

For the pilot's sake, I hope it wasn't skylarking at low level!

Dangley it seems your hopes are dashed. From a very credible source he is in a lot of trouble. And it is not Casa he needs to worry about. :eek:

Terribly tragic and so very avoidable.

Local police were assisted by investigators from the Police Air Wing

Really?

Very sad scenario for all involved including the pilot, but I hope he gets the full wrath of the law.. Just plain dumb choices and the result is devastating..

DF - they told them who to call. You'd be surprised, often the first port of call for local police is to call the Police AirWing and ask for their advice / opinion on how to proceed, who to contact etc

Just to add some facts……

NSW Police Air Wing has in the past at least had the best air investigation team going around. I would hold as much if not more faith in the reports they do over the ATSB.

They should have done the Norfolk boating trip instead of ATSB!!

Somewhere on the web you will find a TV series called outback coroner, and the story of the C206 prang near Scone.

Couple of ratbag pruners feature in that one too! :}

he is indeed :ok:

We agree on something. :D

He is a good mate and a good guy. Do you agree with this too? ;)

Actually he is not at work at present, almost dropped dead about 12 weeks ago and has had serious heart surgery. He may need 12 months recovery. He has another top bloke filling in and I must say he is a good operator and learning fast. Must feel like he is treading water while holding a few diving weights, but doing a stirling job. Keep up the good work SO :ok: And get well JH :ok::ok:
