I was under the impression that the Super Cobra / Viper / Venom and Harvest Hawk crews started to use Apple iPads a year or two back, the above story mentions using Samsung.

I think the Ipads were 'stand alone' EFBs with mainly HLS details etc on. This trial seems to involve integrated and distributed information; perhaps the backbone was android not IOS based?
