I am looking for advice or a good steer at least.

There is a chance that the Medical Branch might decide my military career is going to be ended prematurely. I have looked at the rules and regulations online but they are complex with regards to pension benefits etc. Can anybody offer any ideas on which organization I should approach for the best information?

The medical care I have received in the last year or so has been of the highest quality but before that, over a period of 10 years or so, it has been questionable at best. I am considering appraching a solicitor for legal advice about this matter. Does anybody have a recommendation on who to use?

Voxpop posts here, he/she(?!) represents the Forces Pension Society.. I'd imagine that's your best first port of call. If you tweet, see my twitter handle left and if you ignore my drivel, you'll see that a few of my followers are solicitors who specialise in military client litigation.

Royal British Legion are also a very good port of call. Worked for me!

PT - what branch and pension scheme? Is it vocational med cat (eg flying cat) or total forces medical discharge? Have legal suggestion if necessary. Answer by PM if required.
