Mercator being sold

Greetings All,

Just seen the message that DNATA is selling off Mercator.
Now I will admit I am not a financial genius unless you count buying high and selling low genius.
But I always thought that Mercator was a bit of a cash cow along with the Airline.
So thoughts anyone, is this a financial master stoke or is some of the family silver being sold off to plug other holes ?

EGIT is a disaster and charges most money internally rather than externally so it will have little effect I reckon.

The "in-house" software was, is and will always be inferior to off the shelf stuff that everyone else uses.

I thought that Mercator was profitable, why sell a division that makes money. Who's going to take over Group IT? Mercator or is the company looking for a better service?
