To be honest I'm a bit confused at this point. The school I'm training at offers me to purchase Avex CPL notes, although I've been told it just covers things in general and won't completely prepare me for the actual exams. Some people say my best bet would be to get a Jeppesen CPL set, but there are so many CPL products at Jeppesen website I couldn't get an idea about which is the one I need.

I hear SA CAA recently switched to a new exam system which is a lot like JAA now. So is Jeppesen material any good for JAA exams? Could someone please throw me a link to the exact product on their website?

Oh, and I've also been offered a ground school classes (which btw use Avex books for reference). Do you guys think I'm gonna need it? My PPL preparation was essentially self study and went fairly smooth...

"Air Exam offers the best and the most up-to-date SACAA pilot exam questions . My Copilot AI is always there to explain difficult questions for me. It's like having your own personal groundschool instructor. I strongly recommend! ”

The Jeppesen stuff is not good enough for even the JAA exams, especially if it was done by Peters software. Whatever you get outside SAA won't cover air law, operations and whatever aircraft are used for performance mass & balance etc.
