Hello All.
Appologies if this isnt the right area;
I've spent some time seaching about for some study material for the Turbin exam. I already hold a PPLH and am rated on the R22.
any sugestings as to where to start for study ?

Unfortunately the link you gave to the RR site states "The Jet Engine book is currently sold out and is pending re-issue."
You can pick them up on ebay but they are not cheap with the latest edition going for £50+ and the older (but still excellent) 4th edition for about £20+

Are there any mock exam websites about. I seem to remember there being plenty about for the other examns...

Whats the turbine exam? I thought it would just be an oral examination by the FE(H) on the specific of the type, not really the technical aspects of the turbine engine?
The PPL(H) now includes turbine engines in the syllabus

Thanks Paco, I just assumed from the original post that he was sitting a separate turbine exam, not part of the AGK.

Why buy when you can get it for free
This is one book where chopping down forests is justified. The paper version in my opinion does more justice to the impeccable art used in the illustrations, and also has that "classic engineering" touch of curved edges on the book's corners.

Can't argue with that CT, but not all are endowed with the necessary coin. Far prefer the book in hand myself.
