Guys,

Attached is what MEL says;

Except ex-KUL, May be inoperative provided:
1) System is deactivated and secured, and
2) Enroute or approach procedures do not require its use.
3) Repairs are made on return to home base.
Note: 1. Maintenance to raise NTC and notify home base.
2. For operations into Australia, China TCAS must be operative.

How if the TCAS inop after landed into China airport, can we fly back?

Or need to rectify 1st?

It doesn't say required out of China.......!! Point to push in a corner....

Most likely a call to flight ops and maintenance control.
The aircraft MMEL may be more acceptable for release with supporting paperwork as some times company MELs are more restrictive.

Loan a spare or fly spare from KL
Hope satisfactory conclusion is easy option today..

This is quite simple. Your aircraft is stuck in China as long as your company doesn't replace the TCAS, since your company's MEL (the MMEL aspect here doesn't apply) states clearly the aircraft MUST have an operating TCAS out of China, your engineers cannot add it to the deferred items list and let it go.

Well, you better find and AOG supplier ASAP for that TCAS...

Would it be good if we plan FL290 n below as normally we would do if acft RVSM not compliance.

Reading your MEL it says you can not fly in Chinese or Australian airspace without TCAS. It does not say you are limited to non-RVSM Chinese or Australian airspace.

From the pilot view point, the plane is broken, we'll be at the hotel.

you have to keep in mind the idea behind the use of TCAS. If the airspace is congested and an aircraft is coming in with TCAS inop it gives the controllers added work to provide extra separation between you and other aircraft.
